چکیده
A novel 3-dimensional numerical model resolving dynamic interactions between environmental drivers and benthic fauna was applied to an idealized domain as analogous typical tidal embayments. The aim is derive insights into the role of in guiding long-term (decadal centennial) coastal morphological evolution at a system scale. Three major functions by on sediment dynamics, namely bio-destabilization, bio-deposition bio-stabilization, were incorporated. Results indicate that each three able guide unique profound change embayment morphology. Bioturbation-induced mixing bio-destabilization may result net export out embayment, whilst bio-stabilization tend alter toward import environment. Benthic modify large-scale hydro-morphology state favorable for living. combined effect not just simple neutralization opposing impacts stabilization destabilization. Rather, it leads response morphology due different functional groups. Comparison with real (Jade Bay from Wadden Sea) justified general validity results terms statistics both fauna, suggested equal importance bed groups development complex systems.

متن کاملA Practical Desalinization Model for Large Scale Application
Salinity of soil and water is the most important agricultural hazard in arid and semi-aridregions. In saline soils, yield production directly influences by soluble salts in the root zone aswell as by shallow water table depth. The first step for reclamation of such soils is reducingsalinity to optimum level by leaching. The objective of this study was to develop a practicalmodel to estimate wat...
متن کاملFrom large-scale to small-scale dynamos
Several recent advances in turbulent dynamo theory are reviewed. High resolution simulations of small-scale and large-scale dynamo action in periodic domains are compared with each other and contrasted with similar results at low magnetic Prandtl numbers. It is argued that all the different cases show similarities at intermediate length scales. On the other hand, in the presence of helicity of ...
متن کاملA partition-based algorithm for clustering large-scale software systems
Clustering techniques are used to extract the structure of software for understanding, maintaining, and refactoring. In the literature, most of the proposed approaches for software clustering are divided into hierarchical algorithms and search-based techniques. In the former, clustering is a process of merging (splitting) similar (non-similar) clusters. These techniques suffered from the drawba...
